Syntax
- Five fields in order: minute, hour, day of month, month, day of week.
- A number matches exactly.
*matches every value,a-bis a range, anda,b,cis a list. - Steps use a slash.
*/15in the minute field means every fifteen minutes, and1-30/5means every five within that range. - The two day fields have a trap. When both are restricted, cron matches if either one matches rather than requiring both. This tool follows that rule and tells you when it applies.
